- half an hour (+ rest in the fridge)
- EASY
- 10 / 12 SLICES
#Chocolatesalami is a delicious #dessert that takes just a few minutes to prepare and inevitably takes me back to my childhood. When I bring it to the table at the end of the meal, it’s over in a matter of minutes… and there are always those who fight to get the last slice!
Ingredients
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 150 g soft butter
- 120 g sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 200 g dry biscuits
- Icing sugar for garnish
Procedure
Chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie. Let it cool down. Work the soft #butter together with the sugar until creamy and lightly whipped. Add the egg yolks one at a time, continuing to work to mix them in. Add the cold, melted chocolate. Then add the crumbled #biscuits and stir gently with a spatula. Transfer the resulting mixture to a sheet of baking paper and form a sort of ‘sausage’ by rolling the paper around it. Close the ends like a candy bar and place your chocolate salami in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
When ready to serve, cut into slices and sprinkle with #frostingsugar.
Note
Have you ever tried making it with white chocolate?! It is just as tasty, but remember to reduce the amount of sugar 😉
